Welcome to my all about me page. The first week of school, you will be creating an all about me poster so I can get to know you better!
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe in promoting positivity, love and respect by being a class-family. I believe that teaching students how to work through problems appropriately in a loving manner gives them the tools they need to be successful among their peers as they grow. I believe that if students feel that they are loved, safe and accepted, they are more likely to be motivated and will thrive. I encourage my students to promote this as well.
More about me:
My name is Mrs. Fitzgerald, I am 25 years old and I love teaching second grade. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and hold a certificate in special needs. I have been working with special education student for the past 3 years. I own two (fat) cats and I also coach middle school volleyball. My favorite food is anything chocolate and my favorite color is green.
